THANKS FOR THE WARNING!!!!I DID NOT SEE THIS MOVIE, BUT I AM A MICHAEL PARE' FAN AND HAVE SEEN ALMOST ALL HIS MOVIES, BUT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO AVOID THE "BAD" SCI-FI ONES BY READING REVIEWS. HE'S A GREAT ACTOR, BUT HE DOES HAVE SOME SERIOUSLY BAD MOVIES. THANKS, GUYS. IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN SEND ME THEIR OPINION ON ANY OF HIS MOVIES, PLEASE, PLEASE DO SO. BAN@SONNENSCHEIN.COM. LATER.
Oh God is it badOh, god is it bad! Oh God. Mmmm, oh god this movie is bad. I didn't understand the plot, I don't understand how anybody was convinced that this film was watchable, the whole thing is one big bore. Its unlike anything that I have ever seen before, absolutly nothing works in the film. It is composed completely, of the sneering one (Gary Busey) running back in forth around Canada. Not much shooting, not many villians, its money thrown into the wind completely incosequnetial and without an ounce of merit. I accidently rented this, thinking that it was "The Warriors", you know about street gangs. Beware guys.
Warriors ...quiet action ... good closeups of MPare!Being a Michael Pare fan, I beg to differ with the incredibly bad review given this movie. I thought it was an exceptional vehicle for Michael Pare's tough guy image. He's silent, moody, he gets the job done. He's a man on a mission and in conflict with himself because a new wife doesn't understand his willingness to go at any moment. The ending though, leaves you hanging on what the outcome of the 'winners' will be.

Streets of Rage
Released in VHS Tape by Monarch Home Video (15 December, 1998)
Average review score:

"Streets of Mediocrity"I bought "Streets of Rage" purely on the strength of the alleged director, the master Richard Elfman. To say the least, I was a bit upset to find out that he only co-wrote it. This was probably only to get into the star's pants. I hope it worked, because this movie was poo.
Below Average Chopsocky fareOnce again, the acting in this movie is of low quality. This time, Mimi plays a reporter trying to get the story straight on runaways in Hollywood. She runs into trouble, and karates her way out of it. I'm not sure what the producers and Mimi were thinking when they did this movie. I fast forwarded through most of this movie; the only thing I really looked at to be honest was Mimi's half hearted attempt to present a **** scene! There's really nothing good for me to write to try to endorse this movie: it is just bad. Sorry Mimi, but you're just another pretty face making a weak attempt to make dismal movies!

Double Vision
Released in VHS Tape by Republic Studios (20 August, 2002)

Double Vision: What A WasteThis horrible movie isn't worth renting. It's got a weird plot that goes nowhere, horrible acting and a bad ending. The slow-motion stuff and bad voice overs are just typical melodramitic moments in this piece.
A waste of timeAnd when I say a waste of time I mean a COMPLETE waste of time. No plot, terrible story, bad acting and a horrible horrible ending, this movie was laughably bad, truly horrifying it was so stupid. Please whatever you do, whatever it takes, listen to me, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on this awful piece of crap. You will be extremely disappointed. This is based on a Mary Higgin's Clark story, but it is nothing like the one she has written. You will be bored and confused. STAY AWAY. I really regret wasting 13 bucks on this shit, so imagine if you waste 90...
terrible...absolutely bad...after seeing the terrific adaption of 'Cry in the Night' based on the novel by the same author, I expected this film to not only equal it, but surpass it due to the better story line...but all the film succeded in doing was boring me to death and leaving my mouth wide open in shock and disbelief at how a movie could be so bad!

Circus of Fear
Released in VHS Tape by Gotham Distribution (13 August, 2003)
Starring: Christopher Lee
Average review score:

This is not a horror movie; it's just a horrible movieI found Circus of Fear to be a thoroughly bad movie in so, so many ways. Even the most enthusiastic fan of Christopher Lee should think twice about seeing his uninspired performance here. Sadly, almost all of the other actors come off worse than he does. It is very important to note that, while this film is capable of invoking horror on the part of the unfortunate viewer, it is in no way a horror film and is in no way associated with Hammer Studios. I should admit that my own intense dislike for the circus may make me a little biased, but I don't think even Ziegfried and Roy could enjoy this story. We start with a rather complicated robbery of an armored truck, and then follow one of the robbers to a rendezvous on the confines of the Barberini Circus. Several deaths ensue, two or three rather outlandish storylines converge, unhealthy-looking animals are exploited in ways only a circus can be responsible for, we are forced to endure circus people at their most crude and painfully annoying worst, and we are rewarded in the end with a final plot twist that seems manufactured out of thin air. As if all of this isn't bad enough, the print of this 1966 film is flat-out terrible. During the first ten minutes, there is seemingly no end of quite serious jumps in the film. The picture quality is so dark and obscured that night scenes are almost impossible to make out and even the lightest of scenes appears afflicted with some kind of dark affliction bleeding the colors as dry and weak as the plot itself. Even if Circus of Fear were to be restored to a presentable audio-visual state, it would hardly be worth watching.

Ring For Doom Service Collection (Vol. 1) - House On Haunted Hill - The Bat - Horror Hotel
Released in VHS Tape by E-Realbiz.Com (01 May, 2001)
Starring: Patricia Jessel, Dennis Lotis, and Christopher Lee
Average review score:

Ring for Doom CollectionI enjoyed this video because it has some old time horror movies on one video. My very favorite is The House on Haunted Hill. Belive it or not on a dark cold night this movie still scares me. Vincent Price is a rich man who invites strangers to spend the night and if they survive the receive $50,000. Vincent's wife is a gold digger who want's him accidently killed. The Bat also star's Vincent Price. Money is hidden in a house and The Bat will kill everyone in his way. Horror Hotel is about a female college student who is studing witchcraft and goes to this New England town and disapears. Her boyfriend then try's to find her. Don't expect much in the quality of the video. The movies are dark and seemed to copied from very bad quality stock.
