SYNOPSIS:

Channel six investigative reporter, April O'Neil, is assigned to report on the mysterious thefts of hi-tech scientific equipment from various scientific laboratories across the city. During the course of her investigation, April learns that the thieves might be ninjas. She and her film crew stake out a scientific lab that she thinks could be the site of a potential "hit"... only to be accosted by a gang of thugs. Her film crew panics and flees. April makes a run for it and slips into a drain and is pursued by the thugs under the city streets through an intricate maze of sewer tunnels. When she is finally cornered by the weapon- brandishing thugs, four figures emerge from the shadows to successfully defend her. They are the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! April faints when she sees the identities of her protectors.

The Turtles bring April back to their lair where she encounters a giant rat, SPLINTER, who decides that he should tell her who they are and how they came to be...

Back in Japan, there was a Ninja Clan, known as The Foot, led by HAMATO YOSHI, a quiet/gentle man who loved art. One of his students, AROKO SAKI, constantly challenged him in an effort to usurp his leadership, finally causing him to be banished from the Clan. Yoshi fled to the United States in poverty. He was forced to live in the sewers, where he made friends with the rats. One day, a small child was returning from the pet store with a fish bowl of baby turtles, when he tripped and fell, causing the bowl to crash on the street and the turtles to fall into a drain. Yoshi made four new friends.

Meanwhile, back in Japan, the Foot Clan, under Saki's evil leadership, turned into an "army of criminals".

One day, back in New York, Yoshi discovers the turtles covered in "goo" which he later learns was some new powerful "mutagen" that "caused whoever touched it to take on the form of whatever animal they most recently had been in contact with." The turtles became human, because of theirrecent contact with Yoshi, in his effort to clean them up, and Yoshi wastransformed into a rat because of his recent contact with the rats. April now realizes that Splinter is Yoshi.

Splinter continues by relating how they got their names. The Turtles christened Yoshi with the name Splinter because of his "martial artistry", and Splinter provides the turtles with the names of his favorite renaissance painters. Realizing the outside world would consider them freaks, Splinter trained the turtles in the ancient art of Ninjitsu and they in turn vowed to find the person responsible for their "mutagen bath" so that Splinter can become human again.

However, April is not convinced that the Turtles are not the thieves. She tries to escape with her latest "news flash", but is detained by the Turtles who are in no hurry to "go public" with their story. They finally strike a deal. The Turtles will help April find the real Ninja thieves and get her story and she agrees to help them find the source of the "mutagen".

With a matchbook, left behind at the scene of the fight between the Turtles and the Thugs, and disguised as human (dressed in trenchcoats and fedoras) the Turtles accompany April on the city streets. Their destination: The Ninja Pizzeria -- where they hope to learn more about the hi-tech hijacks. While the Turtles feed their faces with pizza, April scouts the neighborhood and comes upon MANHATTAN SECURITY SERVICES. She enters the lobby with suspicion and overhears the receptionist dispatch a "security team" to another scientific equipment lab that is "just waiting to be cleaned-out". April makes a call to Channel Six from a nearby phone booth only to be abducted by three Ninjas.

Meanwhile, the Turtles become impatient waiting for April to return and decide to search for her. Within moments, they find her wallet and her press pass. A few minutes later they see her purse hanging from the roof of an abandoned tenement building. Up on the roof, they find April tied to a chair. They soon learn that it is a trap as they engage in martial combat with a team of Ninjas, only to discover that the Ninjas are robots.

Shredder, who has been watching the above scene via remote controlled cameras, recognizes the fighting style of the Turtles and suspects that Hamato Yoshi still lives.

The Turtles defeat the Robotic Ninjas, rescue April, and then pursue the retreating Ninj as to the roof of the nearby Manhattan Security Services building. April and the Turtles lose the Ninjas, but are spied by Shredder via his closed circuit camera system. Now, more than ever, he is convinced that these Turtles have been trained by Yoshi. He orders his Foot Soldiers to retreat to the Technodrome and to flood the building. April and the Turtles race to the roof of the building with a torrent of water close to theirheels. They escape from the roof just moments before the building explodes from the water pressure.

Back at the Turtles underground lair, Splinter studies the uniform of one of the Robotic Ninjas. He is convinced that it is the uniform of the Foot Clan and that his old enemy, Saki, is nearby.

To be continued. . . . .

As good as Japanimation, I think it probubly is!
This is the first Ninja Turtles cartoon. Yep, This started their 10 year career on T.V.s in homes everywhere. This is very good, and explains how the turtles came to existance, and is packed with action. This is a great cartoon.

Cybogs: Super Rocksteady & Mighty Bebop
SUPER BEBOP AND MIGHTY ROCKSTEADY

Written by: David Carren and Larry Carroll

MWS #9059-021

Group W #40 CAST OF CHARACTERS: Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, Splinter, April O'Neil, Shredder, Rocksteady, Bebop, Vernon, Foot Soldiers

GUEST STARS: Channel Six News Anchorman, Pizza Parlor Waitress, Super Rocksteady, Mighty Bebop

LOCATIONS: Turtles ' Lair, Technodrome, Channel Six News Building, Pizza Parlor

SYNOPSIS: Shredder orders Rocksteady and Bebop to place the MESMERIZER atop the Channel Six News Building Tower. The Mesmerizer is designed to turn all humans into zombies. It has no effect on mutants. But a bolt of lightning causes the device to fall from the Tower and crash through the roof of the Channel Six News Room. Rocksteady and Bebop activate the Mesmerizer and watch April, Irma, Vernon, Berne and the Anchorman become instant zombies, waiting to do their bidding. Suddenly, the Turtles protect them. The TMNT succeed in this, but not as they had hoped for. During the scuffle the Mesmerizer is broken. The Channel Six News Crew returns to normal and Rocksteady and Bebop escape with the broken Mesmerizer and the Turtles on their heels.

Back at the Technodrome, Krang, who is furious with yet another failure by these two mutants, unvails his Super Mutants: cybernetic clones of Rocksteady and Bebop: SUPER ROCKSTEADY and MIGHTY BEBOP. Shredder is impressed with his new lackies and returns to Earth with them to reinstall the Mesmerizer atop the Channel Six NeWs Building tower. This time, Krang has provided him with an amulet that will protect him from the zombying effects. However, Rocksteady and Bebop neglected to tell Shredder that the Mesmerizer was broken.

Once the Mesmerizer is afixed atop the Tower and turned on, people all over the city, rather than become zombies, have reverted back to their childhood. The Turtles storm the Channel Six News Building and encounter Super Rocksteady and Might Bebop who have only one thing on their minds: DESTROY TURTLES.

Back in the Technodrome, Shredder complains bitterly to Krang about the Mesmerizer. Krang suddenly realizes that Rocksteady and Bebop broke it and orders them back up to Earth with a computer disk that contains a schematic of the Mesmerizer that will enable Shredder to repair it. True to form, they take the wrong disk and, to add insult to injury, lose it to the Turtles who discover that the disk contains the schematics for the Super Mutants.

Meanwhile, Rocksteady and Bebop have done even more damage to the Mesmerizer, as it continues to change colors and everyone affected by it begins acting, first like dogs, then like monkeys. Shredder is really angry now! Especially when he learns that the Turtles have also reprogrammed the Super Mutants.

The Turtles storm the roof and topple Rocksteady, Bebop and the Mesmerizer from off the Tower. This causes the Super Mutants to self destruct, but the Mesmerizer is still intact. Suddenly, Donatello realizes that the amulet around Shredder's neck prevents him from behaving like the other humans. In the blink of any eye, it is removed, he drops to the floor and begins acting like a monkey.

Once again, the Turtles prevail.

A DEFINITE CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The damn thing brought tears to face. I was completely indulged with the superior casting and i have specially ordered a pallot of videos to distribute among the deprived!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles out of This World: Unidentified Flying Leonardo
Released in VHS Tape by Family Home Entertainment (23 March, 1994)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Average review score:

Leonardo as an Alien? Say it ain't so, Dudes!
There are two episodes on this video:

"Unidentified Flying Leonardo"
"The Foot Soldiers Are Revolting"

In the first episode, we soon learn that April is off to a small country town to investigate some UFO sightings in the area. Leonardo, ever the resourceful leader of our Favorite Foursome, decides he will keep on eye on her just in case there's trouble. Little does he know that all the trouble lying ahead will be for him!

First a farmer he befriends, Billy Jim Bob McJames, thinks he's an alien. Then he gets buzzed by a UFO. Then he gets tossed around by giant beanstalks. And to make matters worse, a lot of townfolk are after him to try and catch him!

Eventually, all this running around leads Leonardo to a crazy scientist who has captured a very snoopy April. He plans on using his super ray gun to enlarge his vegetables and run all the other farmers of the world out of business. Can Leonardo stop this crazy man from making vegetables so big that little kids will be forced to eat them?

In the second episode, Shredder and Krang experience a malfunction with some of the Technodrome's equipment, and when the smoke clears, a super version of a Foot Soldier stands in its wake. This Foot Soldier is no pushover; he exiles Bebop and Rocksteady from the Technodrome and then he sends Shredder and Krang on an endless joyride through Dimension X. It looks like it's up to our Fabulous Foursome to save the day!

The super Foot Soldier plans on beaming everyone on the planet to Dimension X via his, what else, super ray transporter gizmo. This would lead to only he and his fellow Foot Soldier minions ruling the planet.

Can the Turtles, with the surprising help from Bebop and Rocksteady, outwit this brainy robot? Or will everyone be calling Dimension X their new home? To find out, you're gonna have to buy the video, dudes.

One of the best!
Even though the Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtle era ended years ago there is still a part of me that loves those 4 green guys! This movie is one of the best, if you like Leonardo, like I do, you'll love this movie! Not only does it focus on the turtles as they battle another evil, but this time it takes place in outer space, which adds a whole other element to a great movie. The fact that the movie deals with alien and UFO things makes it even more exciting and suspenseful(well, as suspenseful as a ninga turtle movie can get!) If your a TMNT fan you won't be sorry with this classic Leonardo video!

Good video but not what it sayes
My son called this the mystery video, what the cover states it has, is not what is on the video. The stories are "all about gloves, A penny for your thoughts, a farewell to arms, and the squishy prince." I have no idea how to get the other stories that are stated on the cover. None the less, it is a great video for those special fans. Mom of Bumpy Lover.

Bump in the Night- Twas the Night Before Bumpy
My Dad loved this series so much, he would wake up early on a Saturday morning just to watch this show...Then one day it was pulled off the air without warning. And my Dad was very sad.

And one day I was hanging out at a friends house, and this episode of Bump in the Night was on the air, my poor Dad was out of town that day and missed the very last episode ever aired on ABC.
I did end up watching this entire episode and understood why my Dad loved this Saturday morning show so much, it is just too funny!

It has been a long time since I have seen anything thing this funny!

Great revival for Donald and his nephews!
Quack Pack was a short-lived but excellent '90's afternoon animated series from Disney. Donald Duck is still living with his mischevious nephews Huey, Louie, and Dewey, but they're now teenagers. Donald works as a camera man and Daisy is a TV reporter for a tabloid news show. Together the group of ducks get into crazy adventures they constantly have to get themselves out of. In this video we find the gang visiting a haunted house on Halloween. Great fun for the whole family. Well animated and very entertaining!

Pee-wee's Big Adventure
Released in VHS Tape by Warner Studios (02 May, 2000)
MPAA Rating: PG (Parental Guidance Suggested)
Director: Tim Burton
Starring: Paul Reubens and Elizabeth Daily
Former animator Tim Burton (Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Batman, Mars Attacks!) made his feature directorial debut with this delightful comedy, coscripted by the late Phil Hartman (who also appears briefly as a reporter). Wisely, they keep the story simple so as to concentrate on the characters: Pee-wee's most prized possession, his shiny new bicycle, is stolen, and he sets off on an obsessive cross-country journey, determined to recover it. Pee-wee's awkward and childish attempts to be cool and mature ("I meant to do that!!") are hysterical, as when he tells his girlfriend (Elizabeth Daly): "There's things about me you don't know, Dottie. Things you wouldn't understand. Things you couldn't understand. Things you shouldn't understand.... I'm a loner, Dottie. A rebel." Look for Saturday Night Live vet Jan Hooks in a hilarious bit as a tour guide at the Alamo. And beware of Large Marge! --Jim Emerson

greatest kids movie ive ever seen
this a great dvd!! the special features are amazing. the deleted scenes are great to.... the commontary with tim burton and Paul Reubens is fantastic.. i gave this dvd my highest rating ever...............38 thumbs up... this is a movie you and your little cousin or brother, you guys could see a movie both of you will actually like. this movie is still hilarious to me after all these years.

Takes me back to my childhood days
Man this movie is hilarious and it takes me back to my early childhood days when I used to beg my mother to let me watch it and I remember that we rented this movie at least 10 times and I would watch it constantly, and my cousin uses to love it too, she would watch it so much that my aunt actually taped over it, well anyways this movie is about a man who has a mind and personality like a 10 year old and his name is Pee Wee Herman and I when he is about to take off with his unusual looking bike, his snotty neighbor Francis catches him and askes him how his morning is going and they get into an argument, 'I know what you are, but what am I?' That part is hilarious and Francis wants to have Pee Wee's bike, later on he decides to go shopping and when he is done shopping his bike is stolen and he calls the police and he thinks that Francis has something to do with it, later on he talks to a gypsy and askes her where his bike is and she tells Pee Wee that his bike is at the Alamo and he thanks her and hitchhikes his way to the Alamo and an escaped convict picks him up, later on when he arrives at the Alamo, he finds out that his bike wasn't there. I'm not going to talk too much about the movie and if you haven't seen it, stop right there and go to your local video store and rent it and if you a little boy or girl, drive your parents nuts with it.
Will Pee Wee Herman ever find his bike, will Pee Wee ever make it back home, in order to find out watch Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

my favorite movie as a kid
i loved this movie and even though I grew up it still holds a special place in my heart don't give Pee Wee a bad name because he went to a adult movie lets face it when we where kids we loved the guy and i still think he is great
