Is this the full length 4 video tape version
Might want to check. The original version is 4 tapes. The companies other movie The Gospel of Matthew is sold partial and full (with 4 video's also) Nevertheless they are both excellent to view!

AWESOME VIDEO!
TO follow along word for word with ones own Bible is such an inspiration! Helps so many things come to life and to understanding! Although its producer's other movie The Gospel of Matthew is my favorite, this one is def. right close behind! And i am so excited The Gospel of John will be out in Spring 2000, can't wait! How exciting! Don't miss any of these spectacular wonderful movies!

This is great!
This is a wonderful video! It follows the NIV version of the Bible word for word. Makes for a great Sunday School lesson!

Based on a true story, headline-making court case, this compelling drama focuses on the shocking events that follow the heinous murder of two white California policemen in a black neighborhood. Wonderfully, gripping drama!!!
James Brolin, Kris Kristofferson & Sally Kirkland give performances of their lifetimes in this wonderfully bittersweet tale of love. Ms. Kirkland portrays the unwanted wife, struggling to come to terms with the facts of her lost love, with beauty and with grace. This is her finest performance since her oscar nominated role as "Anna" in the film of the same name. There is one climactic scene with Ms. Kirkland and Mr. Brolin in the rain which will tear your heart out. Mr. Brolin does a terrific turn as the husband gone wrong, who turns up with a new, much younger girlfriend. And Mr. Kristofferson, always a great actor, never lets us down with his performance. Also, quite notably are the younger actors, most especially, Pamela Giddley. This film is a breathtaker in its cinematography and music, as well, which lend beauty and resonance to this heartfelt story. A must see!!!

Gunsmoke-Long Ride
Released in VHS Tape by Anchor Bay Entertainment (16 April, 1996)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Director: Jerry Jameson

Matt is the Standard
Anyone that enjoys a good movie, a good western, that has ever enjoyed Gunsmoke, who has always believed in the values that Matt Dillon has always stood for, has to watch this installment of Gunsmoke. Matt Dillon, ever the presence of solidity, calmness, justice, and virtue once again shines in "The Long Ride". Matt demonstrates cooperation with law enforcement even though unjustly accused and when that same law let's him down, without vigilance, he set's out to clear his name. Ever the presence and influencing others towards the paths of justice and right. I watched Gunsmoke as a child with my father, then it went off the air. With Gunsmoke videos and movies, I can share the virtues of Matt Dillon with my son without being concerned of what the content is. Thanks, Matt.

Terminal Virus
Released in VHS Tape by New Concorde Home Video (09 March, 1999)
MPAA Rating: R (Restricted)
Director: Dan Golden
Average review score:

This is one of the most inventive movies, I have ever seen..
Terminal Virus, is a great movie to sit down and watch. It has many scenes of explicit sex, though. Nudity and language is oh-so-plentiful! Its about a virus that is contagieous from men and woman. Men can kill woman by sleeping with them, and vice versa. But James Brolin a scientist comes up with an antidote, and the question the movie is based around is "WHO WILL TEST IT?" Its so fun to watch men trying to dominate woman, and woman trying to dominate men. MINT!

The Visual Bible's Acts - Open Caption

MPAA Rating: G (General Audience)

A accurate account
This movie shows an accurate account of the early church and the Jewish people of this time period. The movie is honest and does not take liberties with the Biblical account. It's honest narration is refreshing after watching so many movies that make up their own versions.

The Car
Released in VHS Tape by Anchor Bay Entertainment (20 July, 1999)
MPAA Rating: PG (Parental Guidance Suggested)
Director: Elliot Silverstein
Starring: James Brolin and Kathleen Lloyd
Average review score:

Running on Empty...
First, it should be clearly understood that "The Car" is many things, but great cinema is not one of them. The plot device of the possessed vehicle has been handled better in several films, most notably "Christine". "Duel", "The Wraith" and "Maximum Overdrive" also offer up better thrills-on-wheels than "The Car."

The cast is fair, and the sets either shot on location or non-existant. In other words, the lion's share of the movie's meager budget obviously went into the construction of The Car and its stunt doubles. The Car itself is in intriguing design, and could qualify as a demonic ride, but ultimately one must wonder at how dangerous The Car really is. Sure, it's indestructible. Sure, it drives over people. But is it really any scarier than the wheelchair that chases Trish van Devere down the stairs in "The Changeling"?

Bottom line, The Car, as a villain, is about as scary as a Dalek. Sure, the Daleks could kill people and battle Doctor Who, but they couldn't climb stairs. At the end of the day, they were just funny robots with a plunger for a hand. As for The Car, it seems to me that most of its victims could've just jumped behind a tree or something, or otherwise just GOTTEN OFF THE ROAD.

And when it comes to motivation, the movie is all at sea. The Car comes out of nowhere, and attacks for no reason. The only real motivation we see is when The Car runs over people who yell or shoot at it. Beyond that, there is no reason in evidence for The Car to be picking on the inhabitants of this rinky-dink little podunk town in Utah.

As for suspense, the filmmakers did fairly well. The chases are nicely done, and The Car is made as menacing as possible. I did particularly like that The Car is not seen fully until it's attack on the parade grounds. Up until then, we only see glimpses of The Car, or static shots that do not show the whole vehicle. And let us not forget one of the most famous effects shots in movie history, as The Car comes flying at the camera through a living room picture window. Additionally, most of the mayhem is committed in broad daylight, unlike the majority of horror pictures.

When all is said and done, the movie is strangely entertaining to watch despite itself. The Car is just bad enough to carry the picture, even if the cast isn't always good enough to.

Jaws on the roadway!
I agree with most or all of the reviews. I also saw it when I was about 7 or 8 years old and it scared the heck out of me. After that bike rider was taken out, I never wanted to ride my bike on the roadway again. The Car was like Jaws on the roadway, just devouring people. The horn, the engine the smile on the grill, just look, you'll see it. I have the DVD and it brings back memories. My wife and I saw it together for the first time and she had trouble sleeping, she's 26 years old. Yea, the acting was bad, but not horrible, the direction was not Speilberg, but the movie has great suspense and action. The car goes right through the home and ends Kathleen LLoyds life. Good vs. Evil, simply put. Just watch it and enjoy or be scared...

Awesome Car
I am very happy that I found this movie to order it, I have been looking for it in video stores for so long now, I remember when the movie first came out back in 1977, I saw it in the theater three times in a row and I also got to see it on television a couple of times, The movie the car is so intence and I just love the way it honks it's horn and the engine sounds like it is really high performance for racing, Also it looks like there is a face in the head lights, I also think that it's cool that it don't have any door handles and it's got bullet proof tires,Not firestones thats for sure, I'd like to own the Car Itself,Great Movie.
