The Bravados
Released in VHS Tape by Twentieth Century Fox (19 January, 1999)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Director: Henry King
Starring: Gregory Peck and Joan Collins
During his Twentieth Century Fox contract years, Gregory Peck looked to veteran director Henry King as something of a father figure and gave two of his best performances--in Twelve O'Clock High (1949) and The Gunfighter (1950)--for him. The Bravados (1958) isn't in that league, but it's a surprisingly tough film from the flabby CinemaScope years when the studio, director, and star all seemed to be floundering.

Peck plays Jim Douglass, a dark, haunted man who rides into a Southwest border town on the eve of a hanging. The bad men set for the drop (Stephen Boyd, Albert Salmi, Lee Van Cleef, Henry Silva) are the same ones he's been pursuing for the rape and murder of his wife. Douglass isn't happy about leaving it to the law to carry out his vengeance--and so there's a certain bleak satisfaction when the quartet busts out of jail, and he becomes the best hope for hunting them down.

Perversity wasn't King's long suit, so Philip Yordan's screenplay about a hero turning more sinister than the outlaws he's chasing never acquires the demonic power or ironic flair that an Anthony Mann, Fritz Lang, or Robert Aldrich might have lent it. Yet the very foursquareness of King's style and approach--and Peck's earnest efforts to fight through his accustomed stolidity to hit the necessary notes of desperation and finally shame--make for a fascination all their own. Joan Collins hovers handsomely on the periphery as an old friend ready to redeem Douglass, and Joe (Curly Joe-to-be) De Rita makes an uncredited appearance as the hangman. --Richard T. Jameson

Compelling but marred by miscasting
The Bravados is a spare and lean Western vigorously directed by the sadly neglected Henry King who drew a strong performance from star Peck in the earlier masterpiece The Gunfighter. This time around Peck plays Jim Douglass a rancher who rides into a small town the day before four men are due to be hung for murder. They fit the description of the men who some weeks earlier raped and murdered his wife. His hopes to see them hang are frustrated when they are rescued from jail and escape taking a young female hostage.
Douglass leads the pursuing posse and gradually the outlaw numbers are whittled down but a potent plot twist near the end causes Douglass to question the validity of his pursuit anfd the cost of his obsession.
My only reservations about the movie are to do with casting;Joan Collins is simply awful as the romantic interest .She looks uncomfortable on horseback and over emotes dreadfully .Peck was second to none as an actor at playing men of integrity and values;he could project goodness without seeming priggish or weak..Yet he never convinced me as a driven man ,one whose soul is torn asunder by loss and an aching drive for vengeance.Towards the end -when the charcater begins to see where his thirst for vengeance has lead him Peck is excellent but he failed to persuade me in the earlier ,vengeance fuelled phase of his charcters development

All in all a striking Western but just short of classic status

EXTRODINARY AND ORIGINAL FILMAKING!
Classic Western Starring The Upscale Gregory Peck Plays Jim
Douglas, a Mysterious stranger who rides into town witness a
hanging The four men being sent to the gallows Jim Belives
their were ones who raped & Killed his wife. No sooner the four
breakout of prison and Jim leads a posse to catch them. Straightforward western a far cry from John Wayne's shoot em up
one dimensional style westerns. The film has a style all of it's
own It focuses on revenge and conquences of being consumed by

it. It's interesting to see a film's hero turning out to be
more sinister and ruthless in his own twisted sense of revenge
& redemption oppose to Villan's own dasderly deeds. A film
that certainly is different than most others in the genre.
Gregory Peck Gave a very efficent convincing performance as a
tortured soul out to seek justice only to be reedemed from his
own self-destruction.

The Bravados
Just a side note ... It's interesting to see how the church changes size. From the outside, it's a SMALL church. From the inside, it's CAVERNOUS.

Stranded

Good movie, bad DVD
I enjoyed this film very much... although it bears hardly any resemblance to the original film or book, it's very cleverly done. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the guys in this film are very good looking... wink wink.

The DVD however... total bomb. There is nothing in it except the 'scene selection' and 'play film' options. I would have loved to have seen deleted scenes, or making-of's. I would have loved to see more of Andrew Lee-Potts (Jacob) seeing as he was my favorite character... but since the film itself is so good, I give the DVD 4 stars.

Best Hallmark film
This would have to be my favorite Hallmark film ever (well ok... tied with Secret Garden). The movie is simply fantastic. The scenery, acting, and story are perfect. However, I couldn't give this DVD edition 5 stars because the Disc is practically empty. All it contains is the movie and a scene selection menu. In an age where we expect to see original trailers, filmographies, and "making of" featurettes, one cannot expect to be happy with a DVD this bare. The sound, although really nice, is a tad bit disappointing as well. With 5.1 as the norm, 2.0 doesn't quite please. I really wish that they had put a little more work into giving this wonderful film the release that it deserves. Still, this disc is the best way to see this masterpiece. If you love great stories, get it =)

Great Film!
This movie was absolutely captivating. From the very beginning my attention was caught and lasted throughout the entire film. The whole build-up of the Jacob storyline was what really moved me. The one thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars was how the ending seemed a bit rushed. I feel they should have explored the feelings of all members of the family a bit more. I would love for them to make a sequel to this film about Sarah, Jacob, and Earnst going back into society. But all in all, it was a truely moving movie.

A good Roy Rogers, but not the best
This is a good Roy Rogers video, but not the best b/c Dale had an immodest dress, and Pat had his shirt off a few times, but otherwise, this is another good movie for the Roy Rogers fan and collector. Just remove the bad parts and you're off.

The main thing I like about Roy Rogers was he was a Christian who was not ashamed to witness for the Lord.

Under Siege Giftset

Superb
Both of the Under Siege movies are great! The original is excellent, with good action scenes and a great script, while the second is good, but has a few flaws, such as Seagal outrunning a train. Other than that, a superb film, and a great set!

There Was a Crooked Man
Released in VHS Tape by Warner Studios (29 September, 1993)
MPAA Rating: R (Restricted)
Director: Joseph L. Mankiewicz
Starring: Kirk Douglas and Henry Fonda
Shelved for more than a year and released as an un-holiday-like afterthought at Christmas 1970, this sardonic comedy-cum-Western-cum-prison movie immediately dropped off the radar and has scarcely been heard of since. We can understand that. By their own admission, hotshot screenwriters David Newman and Robert Benton (just off Bonnie and Clyde) and veteran director Joe Mankiewicz (more typically associated with the likes of All About Eve) never found the right focus for their mix of sociopolitical satire, frontier bawdiness, and brutal Western action. Still, the very unevenness makes for fascinating tensions, and the myriad insights and moods created by a cast comprising Kirk Douglas, Henry Fonda, Hume Cronyn, John Randolph, Warren Oates, and Burgess Meredith more than repay a visit.

Douglas plays one of those charming bastards at which he excelled--here, Paris Pittman Jr., a bandit capable of seducing virtually anyone into doing his will. Pittman has a fortune in gold stashed somewhere. Inconveniently, he himself has been stashed in the territorial penitentiary in the middle of the desert, so he begins conniving to escape. This means betraying everyone in range, including the liberal-minded warden (Fonda) who's determined to redeem him. The stellar adversaries are ideally cast, with Fonda cannily subverting his own image (as he recently had in Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West). Cronyn and Randolph are priceless as "an old married couple," and Oates is heartbreaking as a congenital loner who thinks that, in Paris Pittman, he has at last found a friend. --Richard T. Jameson

Average review score:

About as bad as it gets
What can one say about a movie like this. The music selections make one want to hit the MUTE button on the remote. The acting quality of Douglas is far from what one would expect from this man. Ditto for Fonda. The script is positively stupid, though I'm really having difficulty trying to find a proper word. Just are no words that fit the bill. I bought this moveie because I found out Hume Cronyn passed away in June (03). He, like the others, fails to live up to past performances. The worst part of this flick is it is just plain STUPID. Wish I had seen this before spending the money on it. Now, with a review this negative, the forum moderator will probably delete it, but if it survives, go look for something else. This movie is a total joke, but I don't mean "funny". Pathetic-like joke.

Western Comedy with a few surprises
I first saw this movie on an Amtrak train. Although I was only 7 at the time it made a lasting impression on me. I couldn't remember the name of this movie or the stars, just the story line.

I finally caught this movie on the Western channel and it is just as good as I remembered it. Not your typical Western, it's a comedy with a lot of star power behind it and just enough twists to keep it fresh.

Chances are you have seen this film before if you are looking this far since this film never received the notoriety that it deserves. If by chance, you have stumbled upon this title, check it out you'll be pleasantly surprised.

What exactly is it? Answer: Incredible
When I sat down to watch this movie, I expected to see a movie much in the tradition of, say, The Wild Bunch or The Searchers. You know, tough guys on horses being tough. What I ended up watching was a western-comedy that I honestly saw as the grandfather of Blazing Saddles. Honestly, to me, this movie is that funny. Douglas, Fonda, Burgess Meredith, and the always awesome Warren Oates all give performances worthy of all the praise you can give them. Prison movie? It just happens to be set there, and serves as the backdrop for the hilarious posturing going on between Douglas and Fonda. Right from the start, you'll be hooked.

Mouse Hunt
Released in VHS Tape by Dreamworks Skg (28 August, 2001)
MPAA Rating: PG (Parental Guidance Suggested)
Director: Gore Verbinski
Starring: Nathan Lane and Lee Evans
What might have been a one-note family comedy becomes something more thanks to the comic brilliance of costars Nathan Lane and Lee Evans, as well as the distinctive, dark-fable look given the film by a little-known director named Gore Verbinksi. (Could he be the next Tim Burton?) Lane and Evans play idiotic brothers who inherit a house and all but destroy it in pursuit of one small, pesky mouse. The guys are always the butt of the sight gags--most of which are very funny--but their considerable powers as slapstick artists are also at play. The climactic scene at an auction was the funniest scene in any American movie in 1997, the year of Mouse Hunt's release. --Tom Keogh

Good Movie, Fantastic Disc
Mousehunt Dreamworks SKG 1.85:1/PS/16x9/Dolby Digital

"Mousehunt" is a story about the brothers Smuntz, Ernie and Lars; two brothers who always seem to be down on their luck. Ernie has just lost his job as a restauraunt owner; Lars, well, Lars didn't even have a job. Then, one day, their father, who owned the biggest string factory around, dies. He leaves the brothers the factory and an old house. Not terribly impressed with what they get, the brothers suddenly find out that the old house is worth millions; the only problem is one little mouse that won't give up his house so easily.

I didn't catch "Mousehunt" till it was released on video, and, to my suprise, I really enjoyed it. It has somewhat of a warped sensibility and tone for a "kids" film, but I found it has a certain enjoyable edge. Imagine if the Coen Brothers("The Big Lebowski") directed a kids film and you'll understand into what territory you're headed. Performances are generally very good as well from British comic Lee Evans("There's Something About Mary") and Nathan Lane, who is amazingly much more funny here than in his failing sitcom, "Encore, Encore". It may not be for the youngest of kids, but there are many out there who I think might find this "different" kids film funny. The work done bringing the mouse to screen(a mix of real, anamatronic and FX mice) is also very well done. As much as I liked the movie, I also marvel at its technical work.

The Disc:

Picture: So good. So very good. "Mousehunt" is absolutely, positively goregous looking on this disc. "Mousehunt" is one of those titles that will definitely, or should definitely, set a standard for excellence in picture quality. There are absolutely no artifacts that I could see and the pictures contrast and clarity are outstanding; the shadows and light in the indoor scenes are also breathtakingly transfered to disc. Color saturation is perfect; images are stunning and vibrant throughout. Dreamworks has done an outstanding job.

Audio: Superb as well, bringing Alan Silvestri's wonderful score to digital life. Sounds are picked up wonderfully, from the mouse scattering across the floors or through the walls as well as scenes like the string factory explosion in the beginning. Even when the two brothers are smashing the house as well as themselves to get to the mouse, it's all brought to life wonderfully and richly.

Menus: Really impressively done. Dreamworks has put together a very cute main menu with Lane's eyes following the mouse as it scoots across the screen and back. Scene selection is animated and when you go to the next scene, a piece of cheese comes flying at you not only from the screen but through your speakers.

Extras:Again, a very good job. Both the teaser and full theatrical trailers are included here as well as a selection of deleted scenes(6 in all). What I really liked about the deleted scene menu is it tells you who the star is that is featured in the deleted scene as well as a sentence that gives you a general idea what it's about. There are also the usual texts about each actor as well as notes about the production. But, as with the other menus, I really liked the design.

Box Note: The box also has the little notes bar like the Universal discs have to tell you what kind of sound, disc, etc. Also on the box are notes about the special features. Well done.

Languages: English(Dolby Digital)/ Spanish(Dolby Surround)/ French(Dolby Surround) Subtitles: English Captions/ Spanish Subtitles.

Overall: Dreamworks was the last major studio to jump into DVD, but I don't mind. You know why? Because, maybe they weren't like this, but here is what I imagine after watching this disc: workers at Dreamworks scanning the internet late into the night seeing what people do and don't like; going through mountains of discs, educating themselves as to what is acceptable and what isn't acceptable, doing research upon research as to what makes a good disc. Then when actual production started, I imagine the staff going over and over and over the final product, making sure it's absolutely perfect.

A disc represents who you are. Dreamworks has made it clear that they are proud and that they stand behind their films. One of the best things I can say is that I was so impressed by this disc, it almost made me consider buying the other Dreamworks discs(I *REALLY* disliked both "Peacemaker" and "Small Soldiers") just to see if they were as good as this disc. A job well done.

Running Time:1 hr, 38 min. Region:1 Chapters:20 Disc: Double sided(Pan/Scan on one, LTBX on the other) Rating:PG

Grades: Picture:**** Audio:**** Extras:*** Menus:**** Film:***

Overall:****

This definitely has me excited for future Dreamworks product, like a possible "Antz" special edition as well as "Amistad" and "Paulie."

Hilarious!
I think one of the most annoying things about movie critics is that they're supposed to know their stuff, but in the end they come across as just being college guys looking for something dirty to watch! Isn't it funny how they can't help but get down on a hilarious, old fashioned comedy like this and yet show them something like American Pie and it's great intellectual humor! A modern classic! Sickening! This movie was totally hilarious with hardly any sexual humor at all! Allright, just a hint here and there that wasn't necessary. Beyond that this movie was such a perfect comedy for everyone! I absolutely loved this movie! They used every cartoon trick in the book to try and stop that mouse! And wasn't Christopher Walken just incredible?!!! The casting in this was soooo great! It makes me so sad when movies like this come out and hardly get noticed by the public for whatever reason! Probably the lack of sex humor is evident and the previews and it keeps the movie goers away. Anyway I loved it! Do yourself a favor and pick it up! I've got it on VHS but hope to get the DVD eventually!

Very funny
Some of you people below need to lighten up, it's a movie, and a very well acted one at that.

I am so sick of political correctness I could throw up!

Do you think this will want to make people hurt the animals in they're lives?

Come on, it's funny, rent/buy it.

Of course unless you are offended by humour that involves animals.

Dinotopia (EP Version)
Released in VHS Tape by Artisan (Fox Video) (30 July, 2002)
MPAA Rating: NR (Not Rated)
Director: Marco Brambilla
Kids will love this sweeping story of two brothers whose plane crashes on a mysterious island called Dinotopia, where human beings live in harmony with dinosaurs--the herbivores, anyway. The carnivores present a problem, as the humans' defenses against them--a mystical power source called sunstones--are losing strength. As they try to save the island, Carl and David (Tyron Leitso and Wentworth Miller) struggle not only with tyrannosaurs and prehistoric crocodiles, but also with repressive Dinotopian traditions and a scheming malcontent (David Thewlis) who stirs up all kinds of trouble. Meanwhile, they also wrestle with each other over the lovely daughter of the mayor of Waterfall City (Katie Carr). The pacifist ideals of Dinotopia are refreshing, but it's the special effects that will hook viewers: riding on the backs of brachiosaurs, flying atop pteranadons, arguing in court with triceratops and ankylosaurs--anyone fascinated with dinosaurs (and who isn't?) will enjoy this whimsical fantasy. A host of British character actors also helps keep the human side of this four-hour miniseries lively; Alice Krige (also known as the Borg Queen in Star Trek: The Next Generation) gets a much more benevolent role here. --Bret Fetzer

Cartoony dinosaurs, wooden actors
Oh gosh, look, it's a dinosaur.

That's about as much excitement as Karl and David Scott, the two half-brother protagonists of Dinotopia, muster during the six-hour television mini-series, now available as a four-hour movie (minus all the commercials) on DVD. Despite some excellent special effects -- not up to Spielberg quality, mind you, but pretty good for a Hallmark special -- the movie plods like a 60-ton brachiosaurus with a sore foot and a brain the size of a walnut.

The biggest problem is that these two young men, cynical though they may be, find themselves stranded on an island populated by dinosaurs -- some of the intellectual and speaking variety, no less -- and they forget to be astonished. Really. Not once did I get a sense of "oh wow" from these guys. Then again, they're not big on emotional reactions from scene one.

Kids will adore it, assuming they're not yet old enough for the Jurassic Park franchise and haven't seen dinosaurs in realistic-looking, in-your-face action. The dinosaurs of Dinotopia are pretty good by video-game standards, but they pale in comparison to the ones we've seen on the big screen over the past decade. Specifically, the colors and lighting are always a bit off, making it overtly obvious the "scalies" were crafted on a computer screen and superimposed on the live-action set.

A Land Apart from Time.
I honestly liked this 4 hour movie. The effects are great this movie is absolutly filled with tons of CGI animation. It involves two half brothers who after a plane crash land on a lost very big island (200 miles in diameter) called Dinotopia. On this island dinosaurs survived extinction, and yes it explains why. The people are protected by sunstones. Bright rocks that seem to somehow scare away carnivorous dinosaurs. Suddenly they start going out and the charactors go to an adventure to save the place from disaster. It does have bad pacing (I kind of think this movie would have been fine at three hours) it still is fun to watch considering it has some great action scenes. Overall good movie. As for the DVD the picture quality is very good not great but definutly good enough. It is in 1.33 fullscreen since it was filmed for television. Not bad at all. If you are complaining about the picture on the VHS switch to DVD. I don't think you should care about picture if you still buy VHS. The sound is the problem it is only two channels not a full 5.1 mix. Not to mention that for 10 seconds in the final action scene as one of the rocks its the ground the sound completly disapears. [weak]. But overall the sound is good enough and it gets the job done even though it should have been better. The extras in involve two deleted scenes, a decent making of, a couple traliors, and a game of kids. Decent overall. Dinotopia is a good movie and at such a...price you can't go wrong heer.

The Dinotopian Fan Will Adore It!
I'd read Dinotopia: A Land Apart From Time By James Gurney years ago. Its format-a journal like book, full of spectacular painted pictures of Dinosaurs living amoungst humans (or perhaps the other way around) was exciting to me, and I loved the book straight off, with it's lovely illustrations and even better story, with superb characters and a wonderful plotline.
When I heard about this series debut as a "mega series" on TV, I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd heard some rumours, and I believed that the storyline had been changed. (I was getting ready to be disappointed.)
I was wrong. This charming and wonderful movie is what takes place after the book...and I was thrilled to hear the books characters names-Lee Crabb, Will and Arthur Denison and Sylvia of the Hatchery, intertwined with the story of David and Karl.

David and Karl are half brothers, who were never close and couldn't be more different. Karl is defiant and modernized, while Dave prefers to stay at home, reading books and being alone. But their father ask them to go on a plane trip in his personal plane, and reluctantly they agree. Their father puts Karl that the controls, and they're off.
But quickly, they run into a severe storm, and the plane crashes into the ocean below them. Quickly fighting to get out, Karl and David go to the surface, only to find that their father is not with them.
Presuming he is dead, they are practically washed upon a strange island, which at first seems to be empty of life.
As they explore, trying to find someone to help them, they find a carved head of some creature. Suddenly, a loud explosion comes from within it, and it blows somewhat apart. There they meet the peg-legged Cyrus Crabb, who informs them that he was on some sort of archaeological job, and that they've been washed upon "Dinotopia".
He takes them to the village nearby, and to their intense amazement, they come across an angry dinosaur, flinging it's spiked tail at huts and stand along the roads of the small town. A girl mysteriously appears, and soothes it into submission.
The next day, Karl and David travel with the girl-Marion, daughter of the mayor of Waterfall city, who they will eventually BOTH fall in love with (and does this create conflict) to find out more about where they are and try to find a way to make it back home...but little do they know, they will be needed to help and save the entire island of Dinotopia from destruction, aided by a scholarly dinosaur anemd Zippo, a new baby Twenty-Six (aptly named by Karl, who has not much imagination) and the maybe trustworthy Cyrus Crabb.
It is an enchanting movie, great for true lovers of the Dinotopia books or just fans of Dinos or great movies, it was much better than I ever hoped it would be. I'm truly excited for it to come out on DVD-my whole family really enjoyed it, and we will hope to watch it many more times in days to come.

There's Something About Mary (Special Edition)
Released in VHS Tape by Twentieth Century Fox (04 June, 2002)
MPAA Rating: R (Restricted)
Directors: Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly
Starring: Cameron Diaz and Ben Stiller
There's Something About Mary is one of the funniest movies in years, recalling the days of the Zucker-Abraham-Zucker movies, in which (often tasteless) gags were piled on at a fierce rate. The difference is that cowriters and codirectors Bobby and Peter Farrelly have also crafted a credible story line and even tossed in some genuine emotional content.

The Farrelly brothers' first two movies, Dumb and Dumber and Kingpin, had some moments of uproarious raunch, but were uneven. With Mary, they've created a consistently hilarious romantic comedy, made all the funnier by the fact that you know that they know that some of their gags go way over the line.

Cameron Diaz stars as Mary, every guy's ideal. Ben Stiller plays a high-school suitor still hung up on Mary years later; the obstacles standing between him and her include a number of psychotic suitors, a miserable little pooch, and, oh yeah, a murder charge.

The Farrellys' admittedly simplistic camera work, which adapts easily to a TV screen, and the fact that you'll likely laugh yourself so silly over certain scenes you'll want to replay them to see what you were missing while you were busy convulsing, make this a perfect video movie. --David Kronke

Gross, crude...funny Farrelly Bro's comedy
There's Something About Mary (1998) Cameron Diaz, Ben Stiller, Matt Dillon, Lee Evans, Chris Elliot, Lin Shaye, D: Bobby and Peter Farrelly. Brace-face softy/nerd Stiller finally gets the confidence of asking the girl of his dreams-a friendly knockout named Mary (Diaz)-to go to the prom, but an accident that leaves him incapacitated-physically and mentally-keeps him from seeing her again. Thirteen years pass, and he hires a sleazy undercover agent (Dillon) to track her down, who falls for her as well. Overly hyped moron-comedy, a Farelly Brothers collaboration that crosses DUMB AND DUMBER turf, is outrageous for two hours (having characters not trying to be funny but encountering embarrassments), and definitely hits the "gross guardrails". Diaz is more appealing than most as she smiles as much as possible, and Stiller and Dillon are very funny. Don't forget the unforgettable "hair-gel" gag ("Is that hair-gel?") and the zipper scene ("Is it the frank or the beans?"). Running Time: 119 minutes and rated R for nudity, crude sexual humor and language.

Franks And Beans!!!!!!!
The Farrelly Brothers strike again with this gut splitting, knee slapping comedy that is sure to become a comedy classic. Cameron Diaz stars as Mary, the all around special girl that every guy is immediatley drawn too. As the title says, there's just something about Mary. Ben Stiller plays an old high school friend who was to take Mary to the prom, when an unfortunate zipper accident occurs in her house. We jump forward years later and Stiller enlists the help of private eye Matt Dillon to find Mary for him. While he does this, Dillon falls in love with her himself. Ben Stiller is a master at this. Look at all his work and you'll see why. Matt Dillon shines in a hilarious role that shows his not much seen comedic side. Cameron Diaz is funny, but not the funniest. She also needs to eat something. Fast. The real standout was Earl Brown as Mary's retarded Brother, and Lin Shaye as Magda, Mary's apartment manager. The film goes from one hysterical joke to another. I couldn't stop laughing. It's also always nice to see Chris Elliot on the screen. This is a non-stop gas that is sure to entertain all. Watch out for that hair gel scene. You've been warned. Go ahead and have a good laugh.

One of the funniest movies of the 90's
This movie is absolutely a sid splitter! The farrely brothers are the perfect people to do a slap-stick comedy! This moive almost made me die of laughter when I saw it in theaters. The things that they did to Ted was just hilarious!
In highschool, Ted lost a chance at happiness with Mary when he got his....junk...stuck in his zipper and now has to be in councling for it, and the doctor doesn't even care...so he hires a detective to find Mary so he can be wiht her. It turns out the guy it a real sleeze and lies to Ted telling him Mary is fat, has many kids and has just been shiped to Japan for a mail order bride. So Ted takes matters into his own hands and goes to Miami to meet her. And so the story unfolds Ted trying to win Mary over while other off the wall lovers of Mary come out and confess love for her.
A truely funny movie that will have anyone and everyone in stitches byu the time the movie is over and this edition as so many features that you can go even deeper into the comedy of this timeless movie!
