Nudity with Class!
Non Stop Music and Beautiful Photography
Roxanne Hill, Shannon Leigh and Dina Marie Vannoni Together!

Great look, sound, vibe.In my opinion, Will Ferrell is very underrated right now. He's got the super-friendly look of the guy that everybody likes but deep back he has some dark reservoir that either boils just below the surface or erupts in a burst. I think his immense likability allows him to go dark and get laughs where other actors might just seem offensive. This is mostly seen on certain SNL skits and "Dick" (where his quick "slowburn" is more classic than Ted Knight's). In Roxbury he is likeable throughout, but a slight glimmer of knowingness seems to filter through the character. He almost seems to be making fun of stupid movies by being stupid and winking at us.
Funny, sweet and with awesome dance sequencesDo yourself a favour....go rent it today!!

You Don't Have to Understand Curling to Love This MovieGross plays Chris Cutter, a guy who returns home 10 years after he walked out on his fellow curling teammates during a championship. He comes back for the coach's funeral. When the will is read, the coach asks the teammates to get together again and go for the golden broom (the most pretigious curling trophy in Canada).
They all hem and haw, but decide to try. Their first match, against a group of octogenerians, is a disaster. So it's off to train in a hilarious sequence of events.
Along the way, there is lots of angst between Paul and his former fiance (Michelle Nolden), whom he never said good-bye to when he left. There is also the fiance's baby sister (wonderfully portrayed by Molly Parker) who has always had a thing for Paul and still does. More angst. Yum.
Paul's teammates are quite a group. Peter Outerbridge is charming and funny as the gang's womanizer who can't remember the names of women he sleeps with. Jed Rees is adorable as a loving, but frustratingly infertile husband. James Allodi is the down on his luck guy who must choose between curling and his wife, who aspires to high society. A wonderful group of people, who we come to care for.
Paul Gross wrote the screenplay and directed it. He does a great job. Buy it! You won't be sorry.
Canadians will love this movie. Americans? OK, I guess so.I liked it. I really did. Gross is likable, as is the rest of the cast. I always love Nielson, and he does well in this film.
But I couldn't help thinking that I was missing out on a lot of the jokes. There was a lot of humor or references that I suspect that only Canadians would appreciate. Not that I didn't enjoy this film--I certainly did. It was sweet and quirky. And even though I had no clue about this game with brooms that they were playing, I grasped enough to root for them. But that feeling of, "I'm think I'm missing something here" was in the back of my mind a lot of the time.
Oh well, I still recommend this film. Especially if you are a Paul Gross or Leslie Nielson fan.
Watch it for a few brilliantly inpired details! For curling fans, what Lennox does with a bottle of hooch, a match, a curling stone and a metaphor is a pretty beautiful setup.
The notion of a curling star from Butte complete with groupies, cheerleaders and an entourage is just too funny for words.
The drunken ruminations of the main characters as they sit oblivious as great huge cauldrons empty out behind them is a sight to behold.
Tremendous movie, great fun, Highly recommended!

In the case of college freshman Jim (Jason Biggs), performance anxiety plagues his upcoming reunion with sexy Czech exchange student Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth), but his buddies from American Pie have a solution: rent a Lake Michigan beach house for the summer, throw wild parties to lure the local "hotties," and score big-time. Beach Party this ain't: blessed with a complete cast reunion from AP1 (including Eugene Levy as Jim's dad), this sequel is anything but innocent, and with the exception of drugs (which are conspicuously absent), pretty much anything goes. The gags are almost nonstop, and director J.B. Rogers (recovering from his debut debacle Say It Isn't So) handles them with laudable precision, allowing his young cast (particularly Biggs, who epitomizes comedic good sportsmanship) to run with lines that most people wouldn't dare utter aloud. The result is a liberating and eminently good-natured comedy that needn't apologize for its one-track mind. --Jeff Shannon

American Pie 2 proves that sequels can be very good!
lots of fun
Best Sequel Ever?

is this supposed to be a joke?No F****** wonder the world thinks were just horney beer guzzling hormone charged robots.
This movie brainwashed high schoolers and preteens into thinking mindless sex and constant partying is just harmless and (reputation speaking) required in High school. Well, i watched my class mates follow the stupid antics that this movie depicts, and one got ran over by a car, and one got his girl friend pregnant(she was a freshman might i add)
These are the people who are going to run the country, I pray these people work in factories or go into the military, because if you let these kids go to college, $4,000 is going to go straight down the drain,
im not a hard core christian and i know its only a movie, but it did start a revolution of my generation, and it sucks
Here We Go Again.....Why, what was the point?
Classic Comedy!Film - No one avoided this film like me. From what I had seen and heard about the film, it seemed that the writer and director took themselves way too seriously for a typical sex-filled teen comedy. Luckily, this film is not typical. The writing is crisp and the jokes are very funny. The characters reflect real teens (although they are all well-spoken and extremely pretty). The teen boys are neither jerks nor big softies (with the exception of Chris Klein's character). The girls are not naive, but also not entirely jaded. The acting is solid. The result is a film that is funny but that also can be taken as a look at kids today.
DVD - Awesome! Lots of special features, almost too many (soundtrack presentation?). The commentary is entertaining, and outtakes are always fun.
